Lafayette Channel 10 KLFY-TV has just reported hotel overbookings at the Best Value Inn. Due to damage to the chain's main computer system in Florida, the Best Value -- which only has 300 rooms -- was allowed to accept 10,000 reservations. The parking lot is full of angry guests who have confirmed reservations and no rooms. KLFY reports that it is STILL possible to book a room at the Best Value via priceline.com and other sites because the glitch hasn't been fixed yet. What a catastrophe!!
oh my. some people are going to have to ride it out in their cars.
NO WAY! OMG...
they can still outdrive the storm's path and park somewhere
those poor folks stuck in cars on I-10 or US 90 in the lower parishes are in trouble
they'd better head for schools and libraries and courthouses...heavy buildings
There are days when I am really glad that I don't hold certain jobs. Today would be one of them. Those people are going to need a bonus when this is finished.
