I just heard on the news something

I didn't think of....all the poisonous

snakes will go to high ground

(where the people are) to get away

from the salt water!!!

yup , a teaching veterinarian once told me that the low barometric #'s trigger a primal instinct to get to higher ground,... even before the storm arrives

Not only snakes, also Nutria, which are basically 15-pound swamp rats.

Not just snakes. Fireants form a floating ball around the queen in floods and float till they reach dry ground.
