You may be thinking the Metrodome in Minneapolis, or some of the other newer domed stadiums. I'm pretty sure the Superdome roof is concrete and steel, at least it looks like it from all the pictures I've seen.
I'm gobsmacked by this hurricane. Last I heard it was at 110 mph, now 175 and strengthening? Oh my God.

What?! People are going to hide in a Stadium??? I dont think that's a good idea at all. Hopefully I am wrong but I just don't like the sound of that.
