Is that rotation I see out in the eastern Atlantic?

From the National Hurricane Center:

SATELLITE IMAGES AND SURFACE REPORTS INDICATE THAT A WELL-ORGANIZED TROPICAL WAVE ACCOMPANIED BY A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE HAS MOVED OFF THE COAST OF AFRICA AND IS NOW LOCATED ABOUT 450 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME A TROPICAL DEPRESSION AT ANY TIME TODAY OR MONDAY AS IT MOVES TOWARD THE WEST AT 15 MPH.

Oh great, I guess I will just throw out the food ruined by Katrina (power outage down here in S. Florida) and wait to buy more. In fact, I think we'll just start eating dried and canned foods..... I wish someone would invent a way of keeping food cold that didn't require either electricity or a gas powered generator.
