Archishop Ussher calculated that the earth was created on October 23, 4004 BC at 9:00 AM--and I assume this was Pacific Daylight Time. On October 23, 1972, I was a student at Occidental College, and my geology class met at 9:00 AM. At the start of class, the students threw a surprise party, which was covered by a television news crew from NBC, to celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the earth.
