Weather channel just reported a 3 millibar drop in pressure since the 11 pm warning. And 34 foot high wave heights in Northeast quadrant near the center.It's still intensifying. IF the NO mayor waits till morning. Pray for the souls that remain or are simply to late to get out.

The only good news for those idiots (that are supposed to put the safety of the public at paramout interest) is that I-10 East and West is an easy evac, relatively speaking.
Just heard the snip about schools being closed on Monday and Tuesday in Jefferson parish. WELL DUHH!!!

wunderground.com has a great Tropical Storm page. It shows this thing heading to a large area of very warm water. 90 degrees. That's high octane hurricane fuel.
