I don't see how it could sustain itself at that level for another 24 hours. Now, if it had strengthened right before it hit, it could hit with a full wallop. But now it's got a full day before it makes landfall, I can't see it. Has a 5 ever hit as a 5 after reaching that cat this far out?

I'm praying it doesn't slow down. Andrew moved fast and that saved a lot of people. Hugo sat over St Thomas for hours and hours with 140 mph winds.
