In my watching of the satellite:
Eye is just NE of the latest forcast maker that marks the projected path.
It appears to crazy me that she is pulling from the bottom of the trough that is coming in from the west. As if she is feeding off of it.

Pulling the clouds ahead of the trough south and into herself is what I meant.
