New Orleans is history if this intensification continues, and on the current path.

I fear the worse too. We are still here in Metairie (suburb of New Orleans) we have been boarding up all day. All the birds have left. We usually hear them at night. It is totally quiet.

Goodness sakes, liberty...

At least drive inland northward to higher ground. There's still time to do that, especially from 2 am to 5 am, even with extra traffic, you'll still move away from the brunt. You can judge whether to start moving East or West 10 hours from now, listening to the weather reports regarding the tracking... You In all seriousness, this appears to be the big one...

A lot of people are concentrating on the city.

But what about the West Bank? There's a lot of people in NEw Orleans who'd rather see the suburbs taken out before the city falls.
