I agree. From what people said of the gov and mayor's press conference, it sounds like his declaration wasn't enough of a hint. He had to actually talk to her to strike some sense into her head.

These folks have shown very poor leadership qualities and I'm afraid many people will pay with their lives.

TALK ABOUT NO PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY! You know they'll be whining for someone else to "cross that bridge" for them.
I am all for personal responsibility and limited governement interference, but one of the main purposes for government is PUBLIC SAFETY.......and they have failed that job here abyssmally.
People here at FR have been calling for the Evac of NO since THURSDAY for crying out loud.
