They do it at their peril. Forecasters aren't perfect. Folks should still get out of harm's way. I'd rather evacuate and have it turn out to be a false alarm, than stay and find out I was wrong the hard way.
That is my point, early on in the week forcasters said that NO was in absolute no danger.
