I was thinking the same thing....and the worst part is, the hurricane isn't supposed to hit until MONDAY...and the Caravan and protest is TODAY!
But, hey, it is more "politically correct" to cover a hurricane than a Pro-Bush, Pro-military rally! sigh
The blip on FNC had Greg Kelly calling it a Pro-War rally, with the emphasis as indicated. They showed all ditch-witch and one lowly pro-war protester that was arrested for not going back to a specific area. SO.............I thought no one was there for our side and immediately turned it off.
All those that think FNC are our friends, need to open your eyes.
I don't mind them covering the hurricane. People need to be notified well ahead of time. Hurricanes are a life and death matter But they cover a heck of a lot of other stuff that isn't even fluff, it's less important than that.
The Advertisers may be telling them to back off. They can make more money on the Hurricane.

All hurricane reports should be on the weather channel~~!!
It's a rule of journalism (often left behind by agenda driven libnews) that you lead with the story that will affect the most people. As significant as theis rally is, Katrina will affect more people today.
