Just as the Gold Star families were to head out, word was passed to the crowd that the crosses had been removed. Wouldn't want a bunch of women that lost their sons or daughters to have a minute in the media, now would they?
Yes, but as you can see in my photos taken after the announcement that the crosses had been removed, they definately had not. Somebody wasn't being honest.
