There is a drawback to that, if there is a chance of coming in contact with leftists during said event. I was at a FReep some time ago in which we did this, and wound up having a leftist notice my name tag and ask me about it.

Well, actually, simply going to a Freep even can get you outed, too. By friendly fire even!

I'm not knocking hocndoc, but when connecting public ID's with pix, all it takes is for someone to catch your real name at an event and you're outed to the entire moonbat community.

Really, there's no way to "actively lurk" for the conservative side. It's ok to hawk your image at Camp Casey, because there will be no retribution....just like putting a "No blood for Oil" bumper sticker on your car can be done without fear. But put a "W 1" sticker or pro-conservative bumper sticker on your car, and be prepared to get keyed! Same with these counter-protests. The moonbats will stalk you, to be sure. So Freep carefully!

I find my Texas State Rifle Association "Raging Bull" window sticker cuts down on that sort of thing. :)

And the sticker of the shied of the Army organization I support as a contractor doesn't hurt either, at least for anyone who knows what it is. (Can't post that one though)
