Not realy, their timing and message was way wrong, the crowd went ballistic at a very emotional time. Protestwarrior tactics should not have been used here IMHO. Signs honoring the troops/discrediting Shehann, would have been much more effective.
I can see your point. I wasn't there so I will take your word that the timing was wrong. But we still need to educate folks so we don't go around attacking our own. We knew they were going to join us ahead of time. Perhaps they even had bumper stickers etc. to hand out. I know my hubby got some from them for his car.
Uh, Protestwarrior signs DO honor the troops and the DO discredit Sheehan and other anti-American leftists. Have you read them? For anyone claiming to support the US to tear up a PW is ridiculous. Actually, tearing up even a genuine leftist's sign would have been out of bounds, but I see no reason for "conservatives" to try for a reputation of being both thuggish AND stupid.

Protest Warrior signs were designed to infiltrate anti-US rallies. They really do not work in a crowd of positive pro-troops and pro-CIC posters.
I know their hearts are in the right place. But they must consider the "visuals."
