Is it just me, or does he seem downright uncomfortable reporting this story? I'm suprised, since he was in the thick of the beginning of the war and gave some of the best reports... and is a marine pilot himself... he did manage to mumble something about the *numbers* vary from a hundred to hundreds.
I thought he seemed uncomfortable too. It was almost like he wasn't prepared.
