"What about these reporters headed to downtown NOLA for to cover the storm?"
Jeff Goldblatt with FNC on the phone said he's headed to Jackson Square in the Quarter. That's the last place I'd want to be during a storm like this - I pray he doesn't plan on staying down there.

They are so used to covering Florida Hurricanes. They obviously have no clue whatsoever what they are playing with.

Hello,
Jackson Square, what a wonderful place. My husband and I have visited NO at least once (if not twice) for each of the last 7 years. Our "for sure" annual trip is for the French Quarter Festival. This past spring was really nice, just me and Mr. MOgirl. Great food, bands, very family oriented. We were just in the Quarter last Thursday, just had to drive over from MS. This is surreal. I am so worried about the good people of NO and pray that this storm does not do what it could.
Prayers to all in the path, glad to be here with friends, MOgirl
