My guess is that they want to clear out the areas south of NO and surrounding areas first (which are subject to mandatory evacuation orders), Was any sort of evacuation order issued for those areas so far? I haven't seen anything about it on this thread. If not, then my original point would hold

Ya, I heard East St. Bernard, Plaquames (sp), and Terrebone were under mandatory orders. Myabe I heard wrong.
