Snowislander noted the weather dropping down into LA about an hour ago. Other than getting the ground wet in preparation for more torrential hurricane rains...let's ask the wx gurus.
you can see a HUGE eye developing and the old little eye rotating around it now on the VIS shot..as well asthe long range key west radar(it just moved out of range of it)
I know it was mentioned. I saw the question, which peaked my interest. Then I looked at a sat view and saw the same thing.
But I never saw an answer...yeah, it would be nice to hear an answer from one of the weather gurus.
My son, FReeper 'Charge Carrier', is flying from LA to Houston to Mobile tomorrow morning. Please give him what-ever- advice you can about his travels and the hurricane. I have bumped him to this thread and will call him on the phone shortly to let him know to check in here. Thanks.
