John Allen Mohammad was not military-trained in that respect. His handling of firearms was basic only. No sniper training.
As an ex-salior, he was trained. Basic qual. We shoot and hit, they just bomb. 200 meters is nothing with a little range time. 500 meters is work, and hunting.
Yes, but according to reports John Mohammed had scores that bested even L.H. Oswald's marksman scores.. And he was considered at best an average shooter, yet he pulled off the Kennedy job. So I would guess that John Mohammed was quite good with a rifle..
