On a 26-12 vote, lawmakers opposed the governor's plan to consolidate four state agencies under a new Cabinet-level secretary of energy. The timing may not be so coincidental as one would like to think and may only help to spotlight that reform is long overdue in many facets of this state's glob-a-manure and its infrastructure is in serious need of review, maintenance, new equipment, etc.
