Escaped = stolen. If she's so stupid as to show them to the Mint, from where they were originally stolen, she deserves to have them taken.

escaped=stolen? I am betting that many people working there in higher positions took home a few "souveniers" and people including the goverment are using the word "stolen" without proof. I am amzed at the idiots this list allows to post regularly. Of course with all the idiots out there being allowed to breed indiscriminately, we will be a nation of morons in no time. As it is 95% of our populace is wasting air, and these "posting" groups make that as clear as can be. The lady should have been allowed to auction the coins, and since damaged money is technically no valid currency, all the double strikes etc should be subject to seizure. Errors in stamps too. What would all the collectors think if the government seized all that stuff? I'm betting there would be some outrage...
