How would you feel if you were them? The dreadful Isrealis unilaterally decide to withdraw from those "occupied areas" in their "occupied territories" leaving the occupants the full responsibility of running the show along with all the attendant costs.
The "dreadful Israelis" get credit for being peace-like, they still "own" the land with no financial obligation and you have a very large new responsibility to run this monster.

One very important thing that has changed that is just hinted at here is that now, according to International Law, Israel is no longer limited to police actions, but can enter the Gaza Strip as a full scale military action. In other words, there is no longer any fig leaf to hide behind that the terrorists are just belligerent civilians, fighting for freedom, but they are now a hostile military force attacking a neighboring state.
This is a VERY big change, as Abbas by law can now be held responsible for his citizens actions. Israel is well within its legal rights to now declare war on Gaza, and kill them all in response to an act of war from them. By the way, blowing up a bus is an act of war...
Now as for your comment, if getting handed miles of beach front property on the Mediterranean Sea is a "turd in your pocket" what in the world isn't?! This property is easily worth over three Billion dollars on the open market. It would have been worth twice that, but the Arabs demanded that the beach front communities be torn down because they were Jew Houses along with the One Hundred Million Dollar a year productive green house. Just dang, it is harvest season! Are there NO brains in Gaza at all?
