The "press conference" format was VERY EFFECTIVE at Santa Monica College earlier this year.
The SMC CRs brought a small folding table, and had a few of their leaders sit at chairs behind that table -- and then they invited the press to ask them questions...
...and THEY DID!
Can you help us find a similar table and chairs, and get them to the rally on Monday?

It appears that the President WILL in fact be flying into the Ontario airport, from www.nctimes.com:
Bush to speak in San Diego on Tuesday
By: North County Times
President Bush will be in Southern California the first part of next week, capping a two-day visit to the region with a Tuesday morning speech at San Diego's North Island Naval Air Station on the 60th anniversary of the Japanese surrender ending World War II.

The speech will be the third and final in a series of remarks intended to shore up support for the ongoing war in Iraq and continuing military action in Afghanistan. After his speech, Bush is scheduled to visit the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

On Monday, Bush will present the President's Volunteer Service Award to Joe Graff when he arrives in Ontario. Graff has spent more than 4,500 hours as a volunteer with that city's police department and with other organizations in San Bernardino County.

Bush will fly to North Island Naval Air Station aboard Air Force One after his Medicare forum and will spend the night in San Diego.

His speech the next morning will be preceded by an address from a World War II veteran and remarks by other local military and political officials, a White House spokeswoman said.

Bush's visit to San Diego will be his sixth since he assumed the Oval Office in January 2001.
