Heavenly Father, we return to thank You for America's sons and daughters who willingly go forth that their loved ones need not. Thank You for Iraq's sons and daughters who willingly go forth that their countrymen would be free. Comfort the hearts of the mothers of Captains Argel and Abass, so intertwined by love and loss. Shower them daily with Your mercy, for their beloved sons are no longer among the living. May they be comforted by grateful people whose ultimate tribute to such sacrifice can only be a humble "thank you." Thank You, O God, that You write the course of nations in the lives of heroes such as these ... in families such as these. May Your hand of blessing ever be upon them, in life and in death. In the Name of Jesus, may it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, Amen ...
If the video does indeed show the Commie Mommie saying that about Casey, we need to get this video link to Hannity to show on Hannity & Colmes.
Welcome to FreeRepublic.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your son. I too, have recently lost a son (though not in combat - he was 16). Draw comfort from the knowledge your son is a hero.
Every day I try to live a life worthy of their sacrifice . . .
It is a sting and grief like no other death I've experienced in my lifetime. I so much more understand "The Purple Heart", and so many more things I didn't quite get the fullness of before.
Mrs. Debbie, I could just weep and bawl with you. That truly unique grief which combines the highest of agape love, honor, simultaneous to the loss of a loved one.
It's going on close to a year for me. I've never known a grief like this in my life, and I've known numerous. When it comes up, I still freeze up. My world goes cold. Not as often, but the sting still can just take me into another place and reduce me to instant and intense grief. I'll never forget.
What can I say; but that he died for me, that I might be free.
Thank you, Mrs. Debbie. Thank you. I wish I could take your grief away. Your son was and is so fine.
"just damn" bump
We cannot know how you feel, but we can thank you for raising a brave son, and thank you for your sacrifice, and pray for peace and understanding for you and your family.
The cause is just. The men and women who fight, and those who die are true heroes, and we are thankful!
You have the unending gratitude of the nation that your son died to keep free.
God bless you, Debbie, and may you always know that we who are eternally grateful far outnumber those spend their lives hating America. No wonder they protest; they are practically on the side of our enemies.
those who spend
"Maybe she'll adopt John Walker Lindt. He would be the better son in her eyes, I guess."
Excellent suggestion!
Debbie, please accept my deepest sympathy, and my deepest thanks and gratitude for your brave son's service. My own son is only 11, and I cannot imagine losing him. But I do know that the terrorists who killed your son might otherwise have been here in the United States trying to kill my son, and me. I think about this every time I read of the death of one of our brave soldiers. I was on Capitol Hill on 9/11, and I still remember it as the saddest and most terrifying day of my life. Just as I know that I might have been spared that day by the deaths of those brave souls on Flight 93, I know that your son died to spare me and millions of other Americans from the horror of other 9/11s. Believe me, we do appreciate it, from the bottom of our hearts. I will pray for you.
Her ugliness is only exceeded by her treason.
Please see my post #72. It humbles me to my core to know that your son died so that my son and I might not. I will never forget his sacrifice, nor yours. Peace be with you.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for all those brave souls who stand between us and those who would destroy us.

There is an address for his young son's trust fund.
"I wish that woman would go crawl under some very big and very secluded rock and stay there."
I don't. I think she is turning off more people than she is converting.
As Ann Coulter says, Cindy should have her own show, even run on the Dem ticket next time.
we all know what follows hubris.
Say what? This buttbrain taught others...Government no less? Spreading lies to the youth, I'm sure.
