Rocks thrown by immigrants damage Border Patrol helicopter

YUMA - A rock allegedly thrown by an illegal immigrant forced a Border Patrol helicopter to make an emergency landing after a rotor was damaged.
The A-Star helicopter was two miles west of the U.S. Port of Entry in Andrade, Calif., on Tuesday when a group of immigrants began throwing rocks at the aircraft.
One baseball-sized rock struck a rotor and gashed it, forcing the pilot to land the helicopter nearby, said Border Patrol spokesman Michael Gramley.
Neither the Customs and Border Protection pilot nor the Border Patrol observer were injured.
Gramley said he did not know how high the helicopter was hovering when it was struck, but it was being repaired and was expected to be back in service soon.
The incident was a first for the Border Patrol's Yuma sector, which covers the section of Arizona between the Pima County line and California.
A group of 17 illegal immigrants was apprehended.

Attempted murder? I don't think so. The Patriot Act classifies any action intended to damage or bring down an aircraft in flight as TERRORISM! Send his punk ass to Gitmo!

It is a requirement of law that the Federal Government protect the States from invasion.:
Article 4
Section. 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; ...
I also don't see anything that prevents a state from protecting it's own border from invasion from a foreign nation, nor preventing (at the host states request) another state from assisting the state currently being invaded.
The state can not do a thing about legal immigration, we have given the Federal Government that authority, but these are criminals who are breaking the law!
Since this administration refuses to Do its job I see no reason why the state can't.

Didn't Vin Scully tell that story about the mexican pitcher signed by the Dodgers after scouts noticed him throwing rocks at the Border Patrol?....or maybe he was throwing rocks at coconuts in trees I can't remember.

Now doesn't this story just make you want to say "Welcome,my southern neighbors!" There are thousands of unprovoked attacks by illegal aliens. I can't recall reading of one by a US citizen against them. Well, except recent Hispanic citizens from the last amnesty who prey on some immigrants.
How is this any different than an act of war?

How is this any different than an act of war? Good question. The only answer is that Mexico always gets a free pass no matter what they do.
I always thought that INVASION was an act of war, but in George Bush's America that doesn't matter either.
