Well, maybe. OTOH, I can't talk. I've pretty much flamed myself before too. Ask Jersey Republican Biker Chick. There was this one particular thread referencing an article trying to prove that prettier people were smarter people. Wasn't my favorite thread.

Back OT, it's very fortunate that video tape was found. I think it's an example of the inexcusable depravity of some of the people in our culture.

IMO, the problem started when the word internecine mistakenly made it into English as meaning internal struggle, whereas the inter- in the original latin word was an intensive -- something like 'fought to the death' -- rather than between or among.
