While news cameras were filming the event, Marine Jeff Key physically grabbed a cameraman from San Francisco local affiliate KGO. Key objected to the cameramans shooting position, which was on the same site where the protesters have erected crosses listing the names of fallen soldiers in Iraq. Here's a photo from right before the altercation took place:
I asked Mark Matthews of KGO about the alleged assault, Im not happy about it. Were happy to abide by the rules when we know what the rules are. But there was no message communicated to us to stay out of the crosses. And last night, photographers, supporters of Cindy Sheehan, people praying, clapping and singing were here amongst the crosses. 13 hours later, its off limits without any notification to us.
I asked one of Sheehans spokeswoman if she condoned Keys assault of the cameraman. She would not answer my question directly, instead saying, I think if we all do our fair share, well work to keep everybody out of the way Thats all we need is to have people stay out of the crosses I think thats all being worked out privately. I think the cameraman and the Iraq veteran was doing his best to honor the fallen will work it out.
Here's a pic of the spokeswoman who refused to answser my question:
This is what the Left is all about. Lies, facades, and false imagery. They would'nt know reality if it slapped them in the face and crapped on their graves.
It's a "John QUEER" hat, isn't it?
What'd he grab his ass? Checking the merchandise??
"Hey, ttthat's a nice camera you have tttthere. Mind if I have a little squeeeze?"
"Ooooh, you're thuch a brut!"
This loon could easily be elected to US Congress in Kalifornia.
Amen.
By the way, I wonder what his MOS was (besides peter puffer, that is)? I bet he was in some support unit, "in the rear with the gear", so to speak.
I bet he joinded the Corps because he heard (and OBVIOUSLY didn't understand) that Marines never leave their buddies behind.
Even though I see humor in most everything, in all seriousness, this guy needs to be beaten severly about the head and shoulders for bringing dishonor upon the Corps.
We used to call them "blanket parties".
Well, a cross is basically whatever two items you can grab and then make said items perpendicular with one another.
The picture I saw looked like he had make-up on, and also looked like he was an admin puke (or some other non-combat MOS) with brand new, unused, never-been-to-the-field gear on...
sort of like the Algore Vietnam photo where the public affairs (non-combat) dumbass is looking down the business end of a never-before-fired M16.
You overlook one important point. The Sheehan protest crosses had NAMES on them. If the family members of those named did not authorize the placement of the names of their lost loved ones on these crosses, then they are absolutely "pretend" crosses (memorials), as finnman69 quite correctly pointed out.
Liberals are everything they claim we are: violent, hatefilled, racist, sexist, intolerant, and ignorant.
If Governor McGreevy was still running The Peoples Republic of New Jersey, he could give this sweetpea the "KEY To The Shitty".
Did Arafart bequeath it to him?
That's how empty cans make noise.
Cindy's giving it up to him...he's just trying to show off in front of her.
She looks like she is being led away to the short bus. She really looks mentally ill in that picture and as you can see she has her "handler" leading her on her way before she makes yet another verbal gaff.
In light of the two soldiers that had just returned from Iraq and were brutally beaten in Seattle...the actions of the anti-war GANG in Crawford doesn't surprise me.
She will fit right in with the rest of the freaks representing California.
How long was this guy a Marine?
Seein Joan Baez there reminds me of a song that was written with about her:
You got a lotta nerve
To say you are my friend
When I was down
You just stood there grinning
You got a lotta nerve
To say you gotta helping hand to lend
You just want to be on
The side that's winning
You say I let you down
You know it's not like that
If you're so hurt
Why then don't you show it
You say you lost your faith
But that's not where it's at
You had no faith to lose
And you know it
I know the reason
That you talk behind my back
I used to be among the crowd
You're in with
Do you take me for such a fool
To think I'd make contact
With the one who tries to hide
What he don't know to begin with
You see me on the street
You always act surprised
You say, "How are you?" "Good luck"
But you don't mean it
When you know as well as me
You'd rather see me paralyzed
Why don't you just come out once
And scream it
No, I do not feel that good
When I see the heartbreaks you embrace
If I was a master thief
Perhaps I'd rob them
And now I know you're dissatisfied
With your position and your place
Don't you understand
It's not my problem
I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
And just for that one moment
I could be you
Yes, I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is
To see you
Yeah Joanie, you got a lot of nerve. And it is a real drag to see you, dittoes.
