A new rotor was being brought in Wednesday afternoon to be used as a spare part for a U.S. Border Patrol helicopter brought down by a rock thrown by an illegal immigrant Tuesday, said the patrol's Yuma sector spokesman.

"I don't have a problem with this, so why shouldn't we do it here in America?"

Then hop to, boy. Or are you one of those castrated serfs who needs government to do everything for him?

I pay the Federal government to do this for me boy. They need to get off of their fat asses and do their job.

You have lost the argument so you are going to further show your liberal colors.

Liberals are like slinkies..... not really good for much, but you just can't but smile a little after kicking one down a flight of stairs....

Hey boy, why don't you address the fact that the Mexican army shoots to kill on their southern border?

Don't believe what you read in the papers and hear from politicans try to CYA. Obviously the general public has once again been mislead by MSM. The original warrant attempt was served by a handful of agents arriving in vehicles. The entry team was in a farm stock trailer and were armed only with sidearms and small arms. No cannons and the like. As they took up positions to announce their presence and intentions as officers they took withering fire from inside the structure. Only then did they return fire. They did not start the fire fight. In case you are interested the residents were tipped of they were coming and set-up an ambush. Yeah real law abiding citizens there.

Koresh was a certifiable ego-maniac with othermenatal problems. I don't know about you but I prefer those type of people not have weapons.

After took casualties and they retreated under fire and several attempts over many days were made to get the criminals from the compound to surrender did law enforcement decide a harder approach. The problem LEO had now was because of the structure of our civil laws and the restrictions placed on civil law enforcement they were outgunned by the criminals and had to call for assistance.

If by you mean violating you 2nd amendment rights then you need to have your legislators re-write certain pieces of the law that outlaw fully automatic weapons, certain ammunition, and other restricted weapons from the hands of people not licensed to possess them. You may not like it but it is the law.

Try to be more informed before you run your mouth about things you have only read about on your tv or computer in the cozy confines of your living room while others do the dirty work. You don't like the outcome, then change the laws and while you are at it change societies attitude that it is okay to kill police officers just because you don't like what they are doing. Had the Davidian nuts, yes nuts, not opened fire and then decided not to surrender the illegal weapons would have been seized, the legal ones returned later, and a few people would have had their day in court. The way it is supose to work. I am not for disarming the population, I myself have a small cache none of which are illegal, and anyone who knows me knows I encourage gun ownership.

You and people like you play a big part why good officers such as myself leave law enforcement because society's attitude sucks and we leave the law enforcement to the kind of officer you really don't like: the bully, the do-nothing, or the bureaucrat. Enforce the laws as long as it doesn't affect me blah, blah. Typical uniformed zealot.

You make a fine serf. May your chains rest lightly upon you, and may posterity forget you were our countryman.

Why, because I know better than to believe in false prophets and men who molest children, and blind simpletons with religious rhetoric? The man convinced his followers he was the resurrection for Pete's sake all the while stockpiling weapons and sleeping with every female he had the hot's for no matter their age. Defend someone worthy of your passion, not this puke and the idiots he fooled into believing he was their savior.

I do not agree with the storm trooper attitude that the Clintoon administration forwarded in Waco, but I also believe in taking responsibilities for one's own actions. Sounds to me like you are against law enforcement much the same as the illegal and Koresh. How else do you explain your comments?

If the illegal had downed the copter and killed all those aboard wood you then have added that it "served them right" because they were intimidating the criminals entering our country illegally?

By the way, I would gladly lay down my life for my country! If you would care to back that statement up, I'm sure I can arrange to give you the chance! That comment puts you right in there with Koresh. I think maybe you are on the wrong board. Maybe you should head to the border and protect the scum entering this country, as it seems you care more for them than you do for those trying to stem the tide!

By your logic I guess some American Muslims can stockpile illegal weapons and secret their activities and when LEO serves a legal warrant it is okay for the Muslim to open fire.

One law for all, not one law for each faction or special interest.

Don't take him to much to heart Proud. It appears he is definitely in the minority and I don't believe he belongs here on this board. Anyone who defends Koresh obviously has issues with law enforcement in general. Mistakes were made, as we are human, even the those who elect to take up protecting fools like Koresh and APaleHorse are not perfect. I would have liked to have seen this genius down there under fire and see how he would react. I doubt that would happen as most of these guys make great armchair quarterbacks, but run with their tails between their legs when confronted.

It also looks like after your last reply to him he has scurried back under his rock.

Yeah, mine complains a lot. She has been for 32 years. Personally I don't know why she does. I'm the one who starts the cars, plows the driveway, feeds the stock......etc. while she just has to get from the back door to her already toasty car.........LOL Women!

I would not have been in charge of, or participated in, any effort to enforce laws that fly in the face of the Constitution...unlike you.

But it's interesting to hear that I am the one who doesn't belong on Free Republic.

"Obviously the general public has once again been mislead by MSM."

The MSM has been covering up for you and your fellow stormtroopers.

"Yeah real law abiding citizens there."

Real law-abiding federal agents there, enforcing laws that violate the Constitution.

Incidentallly, one of the things to be seized as "contraband" in the warrant was a videotape critical of the BATF. Can't have the serfs getting uppity and saying nasty things about their masters, can we?

"The problem LEO had now was because of the structure of our civil laws and the restrictions placed on civil law enforcement they were outgunned by the criminals and had to call for assistance."

Yeah, we can't have the serfs having more firepower than their masters, they might start thinking they're in a free republic or something.

"If by you mean violating you 2nd amendment rights then you need to have your legislators re-write certain pieces of the law that outlaw fully automatic weapons, certain ammunition, and other restricted weapons from the hands of people not licensed to possess them. You may not like it but it is the law."

You obviously dislike the Second Amendment, but it is the SUPREME law of the land. Which part of "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" didn't you get?

"the illegal weapons would have been seized"

Show me the clause in the Constitution that gives the government the authority to declare any weapons to be illegal.

"You and people like you play a big part why good officers such as myself leave law enforcement"

Good officers do not violate the Constitution they are sworn to uphold; only traitorous officers do. I certainly hope traitors leave the government.

"I pay the Federal government to do this for me boy."

The feds are saying it isn't a war, and they're trying to use a law enforcement approach.

You're saying it's a war. So fight the damn war. Lead, follow, or get out of the way, I don't care which.

You want the government to have the option of using lethal force as a first resort? The government has no more--and no less--authority than you or I do to use deadly force.

So, if it's a war, maybe you ought to head out on point and show everyone the way.

Which one is it? War, or law enforcement?

"enforcing laws that violate the Constitution."

Until they are deemed unconstituional by the SCOTUS then they shall be enforced. LEO does not have the option of picking what laws they get to enforce. I can hear the screams now if they did.

"Good officers do not violate the Constitution they are sworn to uphold"

Yes and until ruled unconstitutional they should enforce them all without prejudice, not just the ones they personally don't like. Gee, let me see I think armed robbery is okay, I choose not to arrest suspects. Yeah that will work.

"Show me the clause in the Constitution that gives the government the authority to declare any weapons to be illegal. "

TItle 3, Title 21 are some and they are upheld by SCOTUS. Go buy a full auto weapon and take it to a shooting range or hoe for the fact, brag about it and use it and see how long it is before you have a visit to check your Title 3 license status. Like I said you don't like it, lobby to change it.

"You obviously dislike the Second Amendment, but it is the SUPREME law of the land. Which part of "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" didn't you get?"

It is the most important as far as I am concerned, I would venture to say I own more firearms than you do and encourage others to buy all the LEGAL weapons they can.

"Yeah, we can't have the serfs having more firepower than their masters, they might start thinking they're in a free republic or something."

You are right, they can have the same firepower as civil authority not military and must be held to the same premise of when to use and for what. To resist arrest and search by means of a valid warrant is not one of them.

As I said it seems you like laws that apply only to others and not yourself or like minded people. Let me give you a tip, when, if ever, they come to your house don't shoot at them you will loose in the end.

There is a time and place for armed rebellion and an isolated situation of a search for illegal weapons is not one of them.

BTW, I am just curious were you there and have you ever been close to the area before and after the incident? How many times have you been arrested or cited for traffic offenses, this is usually an indicator of your beliefs.
