A new rotor was being brought in Wednesday afternoon to be used as a spare part for a U.S. Border Patrol helicopter brought down by a rock thrown by an illegal immigrant Tuesday, said the patrol's Yuma sector spokesman.

"Rules of engagement should apply not statutes."

Fine.

(Incidentally, that is an interesting choice of words, given the title of one of the best documentaries out there on Waco.)

"In accordance with the Rules of Engagement promulgated by Attorney General Jamie Gorelick, the house of One Proud Dad was suspected to be housing an illegal alien, and appropriate force was used to resolve the situation. We apologize to the rest of the neighborhood for the collateral damage caused by a few stray missiles from a Border Patrol gunship, but protecting America from illegal aliens means that we must all sacrifice a little every now and then."

What kind of (travis)dreams are those?

Ask Brad's Gramma and Onyx. They are the ones on FR incessantly swooning about travis's "hunkiness" on FR.

George are you listening, GOP are you listening, Chertoff are you listening?

Are you kidding.

During an interview with Doug McIntyre this morning in LA, KABC 790, McIntyre had Cheroff's spokesperson on. At the end of the interview, the well respected McIntyre said:

"Did anyone believe a word this man said?"

And then McIntyre said, Chertoff's spokesperson was a "Professional liar".

It was all major spin and deception.

If an American had done that, it would be called terrorism.

I see...you're a fan of the Waco school of law enforcement.

I think he is a fan of enforcing national sovreignty. It's not "law enforcement" when they are crossing your border illegally ... it's national security.

That was a good interview. Now you know why John & Ken refer to those people as spokesholes (a combination of spokesperson and a$$hole).

I liked it when the spokeshole said that illegal immigration was a controversial subject. Doug asked him what was so controversial about it; we're either a nation of laws or we're not.

Yeah, I heard that part. The guy must have been spinning in his chair looking for answers that weren't there.

Just because BG and I know Travis in person, Dane has a convoluted notion that we "dream" about Travis because he's a hunk... check out his page...lol.

Hey Dane, I've even been on his boat with Hildy when we greeted the USSRWR. Ooohlala.

Grow up Dane.

So by that interview, did it sound like the sheeple are about to be introduced to the Bush Shamnesty Plan?

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. The house of One Proud Dad has nothing to hide and if the Border Patrol wants a look come on in. I am not overly concerned with the Bill of Rights being suspended, which is the same old war cry some people shout out when the topic of the authority of LEO comes up.

The Waco parallel here is off base. I was there in an offical capacity. I don't seem to recall damage to the neighborhood, only the compound where the criminals and innocent hostages were.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."

That's the argument used by liberals to justify every bit of government overreach.

"The house of One Proud Dad has nothing to hide and if the Border Patrol wants a look come on in."

But they had reliable reports from confidential informants that there was an illegal alien in your house, and you've already argued that lethal force is perfectly justified without exception against illegal aliens.

"I am not overly concerned with the Bill of Rights being suspended, which is the same old war cry some people shout out when the topic of the authority of LEO comes up."

Those who would trade a little freedom for a little security deserve--and will receive--neither.

"The Waco parallel here is off base. I was there in an offical capacity. I don't seem to recall damage to the neighborhood, only the compound where the criminals and innocent hostages were."

The only criminals present at Waco all wore badges. Nice to know that you're one of them.

As for damage to the neighborhood, well, I seem to recall that there wasn't that much neighboorhood to begin with. In suburban America, that may not be the case, especially when Jamie Gorelick issues a finding that all "right-wing extremists" are some sort of "illegal alien."

Remember, the military got called in to help incinerate Waco because of an alleged (and nonexistent) drug lab.

I thought it was because they were shaking the babies.

You are nuts. I did not say I would trade my rights. I said my door is open. If you can justify your probable cause to a court a warrant is justified. If you as a suspect resist, you pay the price.

If my door is open to lagel searches, no lethal force is necessary, just come on in.

I appreciate your sentiment, I will pass it along to the widows of the men who were murdered serving a search warrant signed by a judge. I hope someday to hear you repeat that statement when you need LEO assistance or at least to me and the other guys who were there.

The recourse if you do not like LEO raiding your house is not to shoot at them but to hire a lawyer and sue them. With a jury of people like you, the Davidians would be millionaires.
