Yup. I would not lose a teardrop. But in regards to Pat, this does not help him or the cause of Christianity. It lowers him to the level of a Muslim Cleric (Al-Sadr, perhaps). He should have voiced that privately, but publicly doesn't help anyone. And if a CIA plot was in the works....

How do we know that Pat's remarks were not a CIA plot? Chavez knows now that at least one American wants him dead...me makes 2 for sure....Everybody is talking about it.....Chavez has to be a little more unsure of his surroundings now...looking around a little more, wondering which one of his circle of friends is "the one"....being just a little more careful where he goes.

Pat Robertson had to know that his comments would stir up a hornet's nest...The government said that Pat's remarks were "not their policy"..but we would all hope that the govt is, well, hell,....how would you put it?.... lying?, and they have Chavez in the crosshairs.

I disagree. He did not call for followers of his religion to do this task, but said something like 'if the guy thinks the USA is trying to take him out, maybe we should'. A far cry from a muslim cleric calling for an assasination. I think his statement was stupid, and I think much of the analysis of it has been more supiderest...
