Mr. Qualls, an Army veteran from Penwell, Texas, said he has removed three different crosses bearing his son's name from the nearly 600 erected on the narrow road leading to Mr. Bush's ranch. Each time he removed a cross, protesters replaced it, he said.

Sure seems like Cindy and her Groupies aren't respecting the wishes of the families of fallen soldiers

I'm sorry but if they did that to MY FAMILY I would kick their *sses all over Texas!!!

They have NO RIGHT to exploit other people's family members for their POLITICAL PURPOSES!

Cindy doesn't respect Casey. It's no surprise she and her ilk would ignore the wishes of other families.

I know hate is wrong, but I hate those people.

Wasn't it Maureen Dowd who proclaimed that the "moral authority" of parents who have lost "children" (her word) in Iraq is "absolute"? I am waiting for her next column where she denounces those like Cindy Sheehan who would try to appropriate the grief of these other parents. Bad enough she uses her own son's casket as her soapbox, but to try to use other people's losses as well is disgusting. Of course, Maureen just meant that the authority of liberal parents is absolute.

Seems to me that Casey Sheehan had a better insight into what was going on over there than his mother did. He volunteered, he re-enlisted, and he then he volunteered for the mission during which he was killed. Seems to me he made his feelings pretty clear.
