Military families disturbed by a sea of crosses erected by anti-war protesters near President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, have removed crosses bearing the names of their fallen children and transferred them to another site to show support for American troops in Iraq.

See that's the problem. These people love to exploit the dead...or anything dead. They are evil... that's why you can't believe or explain it. You could go there (you know you can't talk reasonably to Sheehan...no good), smack the DNA out of her to try and convince her she's been on Al Jazeera for two weeks and she's getting other sons and daughter's killed...wouldn't phase them. Could you imagine during WWII if a mother went to the president's house? This is possession... beyond obsession. What gives her the right to take the names of other parents sons and daughters (without their permission or at least checking to see if they feel in accord with her...I know because they wouldn't), and step on their graves as well. As if she knew them and what they wanted. She has cajones.
I know, she's caring as much for her mom, husband and kids as she cares for Casey I see.
Amen to that.
BTW .. I heard on Air American that Cindy and her Handlers are planning on a Camp Casey Reunion in DC
I plan to be there waiting for them too.
I stopped thinking it a long time ago.
Thank You ...
No, Mother Sheehan is the only one deserving of respect in the twisted, "tolerant" universe that Cindy apparently sees herself as the center of, since she to constantly refers to herself as being a main focus its forces.
Common decency is an oxymoron, especially among the lunatic fringe.
I know hate is wrong, but I hate those people.

Yes!
From what I've read .. Cindy is suppose to meet up with a group that her attorney Buddy Spell got together in Louisiana and then take a "Peace Train Tour" to DC and meet up for the Protest
I also read she was suppose to go to Italy before the train tour
Ditto.
Hmmmmmmmmm..."grieving mother" Crazy Cindy desecrates the memory of her "first born", as she likes to call him, abandons her husband and THREE live children, uses her mother as an escape valve and then flees a woman who is supposedly paralyzed from a severe stroke ( which I am disinclined ton believe she had at all ), and now, is going to Italy ?
The article is fair in all other regards and it's on today's front page of the Washington Times.
Washington Times is friendly compared to its rival, but the headline could use work and would prefer they not fall into the trap of saying "Mr.". It's President Bush. But I give them credit for the getting this information and POV out there while their rival withdraws from supporting a Freedom walk on Sept 11th. I also LOVE that our side, even when furious at the Left's antics, has a sense of humor. Between going dove hunting and this Camp Reality, it's priceless. :-)
The rival cross camps are evidence of a growing public backlash against the anti-war campaign of California activist Cindy Sheehan
And this is a good example of how the Times is better than the Post. They labeled her an activist, Truth, rather than "Mother Sheehan". Kudos to them for that.
Julie Curtis-Win of Fort Hood, Texas, executive director of the Texas Military Family Foundation, was at Fort Qualls yesterday, having been asked to go there by some of the 500 Fort Hood soldiers deployed to Iraq last week. "They wanted me to go to say we support our troops and that America is one. So we're up here trying to do the right thing," said Mrs. Curtis-Win. Wonderful
During the past three years, she said, about 100,000 troops from Fort Hood have been sent to Iraq or Afghanistan. On Tuesday, some mothers of Fort Hood soldiers killed in Iraq removed their crosses from Camp Casey and transplanted them at Fort Qualls. Mothers who found duplicate crosses bearing their sons' names at the anti-war site took the extras home, Mrs. Curtis-Win said. She condemned the placement of the crosses at Camp Casey as "very, very disrespectful."
So when is MoDo going to write a column on how Cindy has the moral authority to use others dead son's and daughters to prop up her anti war demonstration?
A pro-troop "You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy" tour, organized by a conservative group called MoveForwardAmerica.org, that began in California is due to arrive in Crawford this weekend.
Backlash commences.
But this is what her attorney wrote

(snip)
In the month of September, Cindy is scheduled to appear in Italy, Colorado, Louisiana, and Washington, DC for the September 24th mass rally. But for now, she seems content to make her stand in the Lone Star State. When we spoke this evening, she said that she has a few questions for the president and that shes heading to Crawford to get the answers. I am not leaving until George answers me or I am arrested. I may stay there the entire month of August.
