It is disgusting in the extreme what the ACLU has managed to cram down the throats of Americans. It's a public sidewalk; therefore they can protest. I do wonder why the Army allows the Pink-os to hang their banners on Walter Reed's fence. It's a public sidewalk. The first amendment still applies. Unless one could make the case (to a DC jury??) that what they are doing constitutes giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States (it does of course), there's not much the government can do.
