This statement not only applies to the mainstream media standard for employment....but their editorial standard as well....

Ungh. Not just the media. You have to be vewy careful what truths you tell anywhere in this country if you want to keep on working. People don't realize it but this IS the Soviet Union Lite, with better TV and better Music. Sort of a Bird in a Gilded Cage kind of arrangement.
