Angie, Angie...no neo-con can use my song
Angie, Angie...why are some girls so wrong
You will learn time's on my side...like the spider and the fly
My brain's drugged out, let it bleed
And Angie, Angie...a nervous breakdown I don't need
Angie, this heart of stone...thinks you're the worst candidate
Angie, get off my cloud...do not tempt the hand of fate
I have had it with you, dear...it's all over now, it's clear
Play with fire, you're going home
Angie, Angie...don't mess with these Strolling Bones
(musical break)
Your world, we will paint it black...factory girl, you're goin' back
Yes baby, you are out of time
And Angie, Angie...fair use can be a cri-ime
(musical break)
I'll be suing you for sure...I'll suck on the jugular
All the way down you will be
And Angie, sing this all together, Angie
You are high and dry, it looks to me
Under my thumb, you'll be so shattered by next June
The sun's down and up's the moon
And Angie, Angie...satisfaction I'll get soon
Angie, Angie...satisfaction I'll get soon

BERLÍN.- The Conservative candidate for Prime Minister of Germany, Angela Merkel, may be entangled in a political fist fight with the rock group Rolling Stones, because of her use of the song 'Angie' in her electoral campaign
The idea of her Christian Democratic Union strategists (CDU) of playing the classic Rolling Stones at the end of her campaign appearances may end up in a lawsuit against the candidate to replace Prime Minister Gerhard Schröeder.
'Angie' has become a special hymn for the Merkel campaign which will climax in the election on 18 September. And besides having great impact on the CDU campaign rallies, dozens of young CDU supporters wave enthusiastically posters with the name "Angie" which is Angela Merkel's nickname.
The CDU said that all the reserved rights have been respected and there is no copyright infringement of the song as ordered by the agency that rules on the author rights in Germany, GEMA.
Nonetheless, the Rolling Stones' manager and record label in Germany (DFX), claim that GEMA has no jurisdiction to make such authorization.
A spokesperson for the Rolling Stones (or the Aging Bones-my vanity) has declared to 'Time' magazine that they (the Stones) had not given their permission and even if it were requested, they would "say no" to Merkel
BUSH WHACKED BY THE STONES!
THE ROLLING STONES accuse US President GEORGE W BUSH of being "full of sh*t" on their new album.
The track Sweet Neo Con, one of the tracks on the forthcoming A Bigger Bang, was already known to be fiercely anti-Bush.
However, frontman Mick Jagger's disdain for the American leader has now been confirmed, with Rolling Stones singer revealing some of the lyrics in an interview with Newsweek.
But the singer has revealed that guitarist Keith Richards, who lives in the US, is a bit worried about the direct nature of the words.
An extract from Sweet Neo Con features the following lines: "You call yourself a Christian, I call you u a hypocrite/You call yourself a patriot, well I think you're full of sh*t."
Jagger said of the track: It is direct. Keith said: It's not really metaphorical.
I think hes a bit worried because he lives in the US. But I dont.
A Bigger Bang is released on September 5 and is preceded by the single, Streets Of Love on August 22. The band begin their forthcoming world tour in Boston on August 21.
uncut.co.uk has heard the album and has a full track by track guide to the album.
