Boo.

Beth is a wonderful, very strong woman, but this Aruba coverage is doing little if any good at all for her. It is a supreme waste of millions of viewers' time.

Au contraire. I think the TV coverage is one of the things that is psychologically holding Beth together. It keeps her moving forward, and allows her to continue the fight, knowing there will be an ally in the press. Yes, it probably isn't a topic that million of viewers are interested in viewing (although the high ratings may put the lie to that, as many viewers ARE interested in it). But the coverage is of extreme importance to Natalee's family, as it is, after all, their daughter that is missing, and most likely murdered.

I too get a bit tired of it being on every nite, but I know why this is being done, for as long as the issue is kept before the press, the Aruban gov't can't do what it would most like to do, and that's to blow off the whole investigation. If it was your daughter, would you not do the same as Beth, or would you just walk away from Natalee's death and give up. I would hope I would be like Beth. In fact I know I'd be like Beth. I honor her quest to find those that did her daughter in and I'm glad the media for once is helping someone.
