Russ Knocke, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, said Chertoff is more interested in a "comprehensive proposal" to deal with issues of illegal border crossing than solely questions of transportation.
Translation: AMNESTY
The "solution" America DOESN'T want.
That would mean a linear border structure, making scannable SS cards or ID's for citizens, allowing employers who have hired or now hire illegals a grace period to verify employee status, then increasing penalties to 60% of their gross yearly income, and closing the 14th Amendment attraction of anchor babies.
Any "plan" must be comprehensive in nature, but the most immediate need is a linear border structure.
