Those comments enraged Sheehan supporter Dee Ann Heath, who said she has two sons serving in Iraq and another preparing to leave. I am becoming more intrigued by the day as to how it is that these "women" who are so adamantly against the military manage to have so many sons who enlist.
What she's saying is that, despite HER opposition, she's got another one who joined up AFTER the war.

What she's saying is that her sons, in her opinion, signed up for the Army/Navy/AF solely to receive the benefits of enlistment. They did not sign up to fight for freedom. They did not sign up to protect our nation. They did not want to do any work. They simply wanted cheap housing loans and a free college education. In fact, if there was a way to get a cheap house loan and a college education in jail, they could have gone there instead.
What's incredible to me is how these mothers seem to be missing the point. This is a VOLUNTEER military. They VOLUNTEERED. Hello?
