I've always believed that if you go far enough off the deep end on the extreme left, you wind up where the extreme right is, and vice versa. So it's no surprize to see the same arguments made by Kos, Atrios, and Duke. Birds of a feather.

First we must organize the anarchists, which might happen before the sun goes nova. The marxists are not a formidable force any longer since they average 87 years old and can come out only once a week for half an hour if it isn't too hot or too cold or raining. The rad Moslems are just rebels, another word for heretics. Islam itself is the greatest heresy of all time, but the rad rebels are even farther afield if that is possible.
That will all change when his 'friends' knock on his door to rape his children, slaughter his famjily and leave him with a Quran to show why what they did is right.

There's nothing difficult about it. The targets on 9/11 were the centers of the very things the left hates: capitalism (World Trade Center) and the military (Pentagon).
The leftist claim there is no way Saddam and Bin Laden would have ever joined forces due to their extreme religious differences. Yet...here THEY are doing THAT very thing. Common enemies are what brings disparate groups together. There's no doubting they all hate America.
