Natalie Healy, mother of Dan Healy ,A Navy Seal who was killed in the line of duty in Iraq, organized a rally on August 20 , 2005 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in order to counteract Sheehan's message, stating: "We just want to let the fellas know that we’re supporting them and that we’re not going to wimp out on them."

That is exactly what needs to be done more often in the states! Unfortunately, right now, all that is getting out in the media is the Sheehan side. Our soldiers are hearing about this and it is unfortunately affecting their morale. Our soldiers do not need to add another worry on their shoulders wondering when they return if they will be Welcomed Home or taunted! We need to come out in force and hold these pro-troop rallies and show the soldiers that they are not going to have to go through what our heroes from Vietnam had to!
