Either way, Cindy Sheehan must not understand that her throughts, words and deeds, place her at odds with her sons sacrifice. What I've read about him seems to indicate he was a patriot from the beginning...but at the least, by the day of his death it wasn't about college money and probably hadn't been for a long time. He volunteered to go somewhere and be shot at.
