Either way, Cindy Sheehan must not understand that her throughts, words and deeds, place her at odds with her sons sacrifice. She acts as if she hated her son, what he did, all he stood for and now is trying to valiantly erase his memory from the face of the earth. Cindy is the story now, not her son Casey.
What I've read about him seems to indicate he was a patriot from the beginning...but at the least, by the day of his death it wasn't about college money and probably hadn't been for a long time. He volunteered to go somewhere and be shot at.
He was a hero proved. And now his mother is a traitor proved.
