I don't know if anyone else was told this by the individual in his 50's that came to the rally. His son just revolunteered for a third tour of duty with the marines in Iraq and was the marine featured in "The Battle for Fallujah" that appeared on Fox recently.
For those of you who saw the documentary, his son was the marine who held his dear friend, the dying marine, in his arms. I asked him to thank his son for me, and for all of us. I'm sure his father will relay the positive event that he attended. It was an honor to meet him.
Thank you for letting us know, At Bay. It was great to see you in Fresno again.
No one told me that story; thank you for relaying it to us.
I met one man who thanked us for supporting his son but I didn't really get a chance to talk to him except to ask him to thank his son for us. He was the man who was in Fresno on business and came out to support the caravan.
Did I see you in one of the pictures?
If so, I missed listing you as a FReeper in attendance.
