Today we're talking about FR Screen names - and logos for those names. There are several logos in the opening post, and we hope to see many more throughout the day.

Additionally, in the Welcome graphic above, there are four logos hidden in four of the letters. Just slide your mouse over each one until you see one that's clickable. It could be *your* name. :)

Well as some know my scene name "Who's your mama" is also a tribute to my mother....Who life represented all that was good about our fair state....Mom was way before her time in many areas. She was educated, loved her basketball (all sports) was an ace shot on the Purdue rifle team....and almost got drafted because of the spelling of her name.....She never lost her femininity, raised we three girls and made sure dad was the head of our household. Like any neck she supported him in all his endeavors....I could go on for ever....But even after ten years I still miss her and tear up....Any idea for an icon would be apprecited.

Well, as my home page says, I am a retired Army Officer, and long time FR Lurker.

With OldSoldier as a theme, I set about to pick a name. A few tries later, I settled on a name I had used years ago, pre-internet days, but post ice-age - Colonial Warrior. That was the name of the Computer Bulletin Board Service (BBS) I hosted. Anyone remember those?

It was partly named for me, being a Warrior/Patriot at heart; and from my home state of Georgia, the original 13th Colony. However, as I now remember, -- yep…I suffer from an occasional bout of CRS -- the TV series BattleStar Galactica. Those were Colonial Warriors fighting against the Cylon Terrorists! Hmmmm... This does have a familiar ring to it!

So, that's my story.

OH MY, OH MY, OH MY!!!!!!

Ms. Billie, you have AGAIN outdone yourself. Absolutely awsome presentation, idea, logos for us all.

I finally have my own logo! (and after making some for several others)...Thank you. And I LOVE The ping idea & the pledge.. my monitor is very small, but it appears the flag is floating on a bed of flowers. The background "borders" in the table are so bright and colorful. It is fun to see what others have dug up for past year threads & the graphics used. Love your gif evoloving Billie logo. that is really neat.

This is truly a happy thread Billie and it worked out well for it to be a two-fer. You do a wonderful job in stimulating interest to be creative & learn new skills & share ideas.

I hope to have some time tomorrow (well, I wont HAVE time, I will TAKE time) to post some experiement/logos for a few folks.
