The trigger points are specific sites on the body that feel like bruises but are not visible bruises there are about 20 of them. I have about 16 of them, and you only need about 11 to be diagnoised as having FMS.

I've had FMS for over 10 years and find mild exercise helps. As does treating my low thyroid.

If they didn't use trigger points of which there are anywhere from 13 to 18 then you didn't have this done by a Reumatologist.

You comments in the previous posting are what cause people so much harm. This is a very real disease and can be debilitating to those who have it. You attitude doesn't help the depression either it just intensifies that part of it.

Invisibile disabilities are the worse because no one believes you except your doctor.
