Every country is like an angry teenager lashing out at we, the parents who gave them everything.
Wonder if they'll ever grow up.

But Chavez said that the US government ... which "won't stop caressing the idea of invading Cuba or invading Venezuela" ... should be warned of the consequences. "If someday they get the crazy idea of coming to invade us, we'll make them bite the dust defending the freedom of our land." Coo coo. Coo coo.
Is this guy close to losing power and needing a scapegoat or something? He sounds like Michael Moore.

"More than 300 students from the United States shouted out their disapproval of US President George W. Bush, chanting "Get out Bush!" Other students chanted: "Bush, fascist -- you're a terrorist!""
Sounds like Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Lynne Stewart, and other traitors were well represented here. Chavez is a raving lunatic, but unfortunately he sits on a bunch of oil so he has a lot more $$$ to pursue his idiocies than does Fidel Castro. It really is terrible that when that half-hearted coup took place against Chavez they lacked the fortitude to expel him from the country (or put him where the sun would never shine again). Letting him continue in power was a blunder of historic proportions.

Pat Robertson said on "The 700 Club" it was the United States' duty to stop Chavez from making Venezuela a "launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism."
I think 'ol Pat might have scared him. Sheesh!

"CNN World News reports: Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has told thousands of visiting students that if US forces were to invade the South American country, they would be soundly defeated."
Let's hurry up and invade and let his pathetic little enchilada army oppose us.

I would be embarrassed to be a citizen of a country with a leader that has to beg for attention like this.

For a minute there, I thought this was another Cindy Sheehan thread.

Rule #1 for tinpot dictators:
"To take the minds of the people off of the fact that you are oppressing the stuffings out of them, find an enemy that you can focus on (the US is the most effective choice here)."
