That was Schuer... That dude is screwy.
You think so? I thought it portrayed him and his administration as weak and timid about any controversy resulting from an attack. And they certainly showed Clinton on that rope line with Monica!
he may be screwy but he was right !
I agree. He's got lots of information, but there's something about him that's just off.
Oh look!!! Dietrich Snell!
They're asked if they would like to participate in jihad? Did they have a choice?
Here is my question: why assume that was a perfectly forged Iraqi passport. The other forgeries were crude. What if that was a REAL pasport issued by Iraq? Hmmmm?
Seems to link Iraq to bin laden to me.
That's a good question. There may be a large grave somewhere filled with the bodies of those who said, "no."
You've been reading Mylroie's work, haven't you?
That was my impression also. This is pretty straight stuff for NG. Remember someone on last night's thread said their brother worked for the production company who made this and said they were working on it until the very last minute or so. Maybe all the leftys @ NG didn't get a chance to see it before it aired. They won't be shipping the DVDs out until mid-September. I ordered one as I got a new vhs/dvd combo recorder and haven't had a chance to figure out how it works yet to tape. :o)
Thanks, Howlin. Did you check the Interview Archive of the pertinent individuals on the NG show site? It's worth hearing or reading the transcripts of some people .. notably Peter Lance, Dietrich Snell and especially Robert Blitzer (whom is listed as an "also see) on Robert Oakley's interview.
Coming up is the trial run that James Wood witnessed on his flight
Good question!
OT: A member of the UN Human Rights Committee said they couldn't even recognize Terrorism as a Human Rights Violation - they're still hung up on moral equivalence - according to that jobs program for third world bureaucrats, it's counterterrorism that causes human rights violations. The UN is a waste of good real estate.
and George Soros supported Lynn Stewart's defense fund. I think it telling Cindy Shaheen has aligned herself with this evil force that hates America.
Contrary to what a ton of "follow my post" FReepers have said, it was pretty damning of Clinton and his wannabe 'legacy'.
But maybe I was just watching closer for bias...I didn't see any, and was pleasantly surprised to see a touch of truth. Tapes of this program will NOT find their way to the Clinton Presidential Museum, let's put it that way...
I think it's deeper than that... for me, this information, even the missed opportunities under Clinton, should not be used in order to place blame on Clinton, and by proxy, the United States. I'm more loyal to country than that, not just when my side is in charge. That's the way DU reacts to news: "Is their party to blame?"
The caution and judgments made then are interesting as a reflection of our mindset... ~All~ of our mindsets, before 9-11. For me, anyway, I don't blame US, I blame ~them~.
It's depressing because it's a sad series of events.
Oh, and gardening magazines.
