Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? (Psalms 2:1)

Good book- Darwin's God. It covers both bases just fine.

It is interesting that the more we find out about the Universe, the more complex God becomes.

If we are not endowed with certain inalienable rights by our Creator, then all of our rights are the results of agreements between men, and can be removed just as easily by agreements to the contrary.

No Creator, no inalienable rights. I don't give a rat's patoote about evolutionary biology, but I care a great deal about the rights of man.

Although a vast majority of scientists accept evolution, the Discovery Institute, a research group in Seattle that has emerged as a clearinghouse for the intelligent design movement, says that 404 scientists, including 70 biologists, have signed a petition saying they are skeptical of Darwinism.

70 biologists. World-stinking-wide.

In one often-cited argument, Michael J. Behe

Who are these people who often cite Behe? He's a known charlatan who's been constantly been debunked by every scientist who's ever been confronted by his nonsense. Just do a google on "behe" and see for yourself that everything that comes up either debunks him or is self serving plugs for his charlatan books.

Bump this article--a pretty good read. They capture the patronizing attitude of the evos pretty well, which is where the evos are most vulnerable ideologically. Nobody likes a patronizing ole huff in a white lab coat. Looks like the opposition is getting some funding and some sophistication at the same time.

Gulp! go the grant-grubbers...

If evolution doesn't happen, how do bacteria develop antibiotic resistance?

A good round-up of the debate.

We know ID is dead when the NYTs presents a one-sided case favoring ID.
