Richard Clarke said that it wasn't just the fact that the plant was owned by Al Qaeda that led to the strike. He stated in his book that the US had intelligence that the plant employed Iraqi chemical weapons scientists.

Isn't that interesting? Someone who's a hero of the Left stating that, in 1998, Al Qaeda and Saddam were in cahoots.

Funny how nobody in the mainstream press noticed this during all their hosannas toward the book.
