I'll supply the rope to hang him, the axe to chop off his head, and the pole to mount it on.

As the Valley girls used to say in the 70's
"Oh, Gag me with a spoon."

Absolutely ludicrous. It sounds a lot like the International Red Cross is leaking memos frmo Saddam to our enemies.
If that is the case, it is time to restrict Saddam's mail privileges and the Red Cross' visitation privileges.

Doesn't Saddam need permission from the legal owner of his soul, before he can vow it? The devil did pay him a kings ransom for it, after all.

Funny how he talks--for a guy pulled out of a hidey hole, complaining to his captors about a toothache.

If he's to be hanged, then by the appendages. And that would require a broad somewhat elastic ribbon (and not a rope), and absolutely no trapdoor, but rather a gentle lowering.

He doesn't have to sacrifice himself. The Iraqi's can do it for him. Poor guy must be tired after sacrificing the hundreds of thousands he already did.

You've obviously spent waaaaaaaay too much time thinking about this!
To: Westlander
I'm annoyed that the International Red Cross lent themselves to Saddam's sending propaganda to someone in a foreign country.
The story said the Iraqi government did look at it and censor it first. As they ought to have done, with so inflammatory a character.
They can't shoot him fast enough for me. Just give him a helicopter ride up to Halabja or one of the other Kurdish towns......their womenfolk will take care of the problem!
To: Westlander
I didn't know Saddam was a James Brown fan.

Nah... Why would I want to think of reinventing the wheel? This is merely a standard procedure, as covered in the manual.
